Our Story

Koa Kava™ was founded in 2020 by a Tongan-American family. Our founder had a childhood in Hawai’i surrounded by Polynesian culture and Kava. Wanting to introduce it to his new American family, he started looking for a place to buy 100% Noble safe and authentic Kava. After having a tough time finding it, him and his wife decided to create a brand where they knew they could trust the ingredients and product origins. The brand has continued to expand and grow past anything they expected and they continue to learn and share what they know about Kava.

Our Product

Kava originates in the South Pacific Islands, but all can enjoy its benefits. Our mission is to share this wonderful vibe and keep the culture in the roots! After seeing many other brands with no transparency about testing and quality, we are dedicated to only supplying the purest, high-quality rootstock from our Tongan partners. Our Kava is certified Noble, directly sourced from Vava'u, Tonga. After harvest, our Kava is immediately dried and sent for third-party batch testing to ensure freshness for our customers. We only want the best for ourselves so we only supply the best and highest quality Kava in our store.

Our Farmers

We have searched out to find farmers that we trust, fostering relationships with them to keep fair pay and have a sustainable Kava business where everybody wins. Our farmers are based out of Tonga, Vanuatu and Fiji and they help us provide only the best.
