I’ve tried many, many Kavas over the years. This is by far my favorite. More uplifting rather than sedating. Terrific for socializing or when I just want a nice lift after work. Some kavas knock my out, and that has its place, but for relaxation without making too sedating this is my go to after work.

Dissolves in water fast, down smooth, & effects are rapid, within 15-20 minutes. One of the better deals out there for instant kava!
I have tried all the Kao Kava products and for me brewing your own tea provides the best and most substantial effects. The dehydrated version is weak and I would need to use a lot more product. It may be due to the fact it is green Kava Root. I find, for me, the premium Tonga Kava Powered provides optimal results of a non drowsy, calming of my thoughts, and with happy vibes.
I've tried several brands of kava over the last 13 years or so and this is by far the best quality AND the best pricing. I'm definitely a lifetime customer. I first found this brand on Amazon but their original website is the way to go!
After purchasing some very weak kava from other vendors, I was pleasantly surprised by this stuff. It was strong and didn't have too bad of a flavor. I will definitely purchase again!
We've been enjoying Koa Kava for a number of years and now have a monthly subscription directly from the company (much better--and the staff is so helpful and responsive). The quality is consistently outstanding and smooth; we enjoy equally drinking it with just the two of us and with our friends. All of the varieties of Koa Kava are excellent but we find we like the Tongan the very best. Koa Kava is a remarkable company, both for the quality of their kava and the quality of their customer service!.
My partner and I love the Damu Kava. It’s a daily ritual for us to start the morning with a couple shells. It’s easy to make with the mesh bag that comes with the purchase and the taste is smooth. The effects are nice and chill so it’s a wonderful start to the day.

I have purchased the Damu twice now and it is a very good kava. It just makes you feel chill without the sedation. All of their products are great but the Damu and the Tongan taste the best!

I travel quite a bit and the instant kava is perfect for a quick pick me up in the hotel room.
Look, I’m not gonna beat around the bush. If you are looking for the best, most consistent, heaviest Kava - you’ve found it. This is the only strain I use anymore, I don’t bother with anything else. I keep some of their other strains on hand for if I ever run out of this lol. But, once you try this, you won’t want anything else. It’s just so strong, which makes it more economical even though it’s a higher price. You’re getting such a great strain for this price and you use maybe 1/3 the amount you would use with another, to get the same effect. I use this almost daily. At least give it one try and you’ll see. I can’t wait to see if they ever make this in a dehydrated form, cause I would buy that in an instant.
You really can’t mess up a strainer bag, unless the holes are too big. This one is perfectly good for your needs and a great price, comparable to anything you’ll find on Amazon. I make sure to keep a few on hand and then re-order when I get more, so that you can always use a fresh one if you want. These last me about a month or two of daily use. For anyone who is saying it’s too big, I’ve never had any issues with a bag being too big. It works for whatever size you need. What I like to do is put the cover in, tighten, and then use a large bowl and need the cava in front of the TV for 10 to 15 minutes. At the end of the night, I dump out all the cava and rinse it out and leave it to dry. Again, I use this every day with no issues for about a month. If you use less, this will last even longer.
